Monday 7th January - around 16:15 the engineer from British Gas returned with a new pump for the central heating system. Just over an hour later the pump was in place and the system fully functional again. Oh! It's so nice to be warm again.
Since it was fitted we've had a cold snap with some snow, which fell around 22:00 Tuesday night but was all melted away and gone by 7:00 Wednesday morning. Night time temperatures have been low, dropping below freezing, but daytime it's been around 8 degrees C which is not bad for this time of year.
