This blog is about me, the way I do things, the way I see things, how I'm affected by what is going on around me, my feelings on any issue that I want to comment on. The strap line From Tea to Whisky describes me. I start every day with a mug of tea and end every day with a shot of whisky -- I've done it for over 45 years and I see no reason to change now. So that's an apt description of me and my blog which I hope you enjoy.

On the mend
Andy took his grandmother to the hospital this evening and the news is good. Dad is mending, his chest is improving and responding to treatment and he should be back home before the weekend.
