This blog is about me, the way I do things, the way I see things, how I'm affected by what is going on around me, my feelings on any issue that I want to comment on. The strap line From Tea to Whisky describes me. I start every day with a mug of tea and end every day with a shot of whisky -- I've done it for over 45 years and I see no reason to change now. So that's an apt description of me and my blog which I hope you enjoy.

Internet problems
My internet access crashed out at home last night just after I retrieved my emails and I have been unable to get it back up. Looks like a job for the coming weekend.
UPDATE 21/02/2008 21:00 -- Normal service restored and so far holding up.
